Graphics: No new tiles used in this map. I am however using some very rarely used ones.
The visual effect of putting the hills so close together makes you feel downright
claustrophobic. I like the smooth hills better then the jagged ones. Looks sweet.
-----
Mechanics: The Commander can climb anything. Other units can only climb shallow inclines.
All the metal mines work. Steamvents are fine. Nothing much I could have goofed up.
The AI doesn't even get caught up on the hills as I thought it might.
-----
Gameplay: I would recommend no more then four people playing this map at once. For AI games
you can have up to ten players. Plenty of cover from Bertha's make this a map for
either nukes, or swarms of kbots and tanks. Diplomats and the like will find much
use too as they can fire over any hill. Laser towers can set up excellent ambushes
if you hide them behind hills. When the enemy passes by open fire. I put metal
mines only on top of each hill. Why? Now you know where all the metal mines are
very quickly just from the minimap. Makes for a more strategic game. Plus I wanted
them to be vunerable to bertha's. Thus a bertha can still have a role to play. I
didn't want your base to be too insanely porcable. Planes won't play a big part.
Hills often block their line of site. Tough to get a lock on your target.

Overall: I'd say this map is quite a lot of fun. It's basically the big brother to Cavedog's
tiny "The Bromid Maze" mission. If you liked this map then check out my 63x63 screen
"Epic Class" map, called "Epic Canyon V1". It is very intense.

Story: The bad guys are evil so go kill them.
